Nocturnal visit to Athens is a spectacular sight you shouldn’t miss. Admire the most popular attraction being lit up in the comfort of your own private minibus.
Your English-speaking driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Athens and will drive you to see beautifully illuminated buildings such as the Parliament, the National library, the Academy, the university. Take a stroll at the foot of the Acropolis Hill and wander around the famous historical center at Monastiraki Square that is known for its nightlife and Thissio where you will enjoy the view to the illuminated Acropolis and the Temple of Hephaestus.
We will continue to Piraeus and visit Mikrolimano. Mikrolimano is the second largest yacht marina with lots of fish restaurants and only 15 minutes’ walk to the Stadium of Peace and Friendship in Faliro.
The port was protected by the goddess Mounihia Artemis that’s why sometimes it is referred as port of Munihia. Today Mikrolimano it is a popular location, attracting people from all over Attica. It is a beautiful little harbor with fishing boats, small boats, and luxury yachts.
Many Greek films have used this location because of its idyllic atmosphere. On the same area located the Nautical Athletic Association. If you like fish and seafood you can take the opportunity and have dinner at one of its famous taverns or have a drink; the atmosphere is idyllic.
Finally, you can sit back and relax on the drive back to your accommodation in Athens.
